SV stands for Stress-free and Versatile. In the SV baitcasting reels, the construction at the end of the spool moves towards or away from the magnetic drag according to the rotation speed of the spool. This enables the spool to produce drag automatically if the speed becomes too high, thus saving you from tangled lines.
The Prorex TW 100 SV is built around a strong aluminum housing with 6 + 1 ball bearings providing responsive and silky-smooth reeling. In addition, the reel is equipped with Daiwa’s latest and smoothest Automatic Tournament Drag with a maximum drag output of 5 kg.
