Shimano Aldebaran MGL HG Baitcasting Reel

Product number:

The new Shimano Aldebaran MGL is a low-profile baitcasting reel with an unbelievably light weight.

The Aldebaran MGL baitcasting reel is equipped with a new MGL spool, which is lighter than the previous spool. This has a direct effect on the spinning sensitivity of the spool. The more sensitive spool begins to spin earlier, which means that the length of your casting is increased. Aldebaran also includes the new SVS Infinity drag system, which allows casting even lighter lures without tangled lines.

Aldebaran MGL weighs a mere 135g, which means that it is the perfect accompaniment to a lightweight finesse rod. The reel still provides 4.5kg of drag and thus enables fighting larger fish as well where necessary.

This is the perfect baitcasting reel for finesse fishing.

• Hagane housing, magnesium
• New, ultra lightweight aluminum spool
• Water-resistant drag system
• X-Ship gearing provides fluidity and strength
• S3D spool reduces vibration during reeling
• Saltwater-resistant
•Made in Japan
