This rod range has been designed by professional fishing guide Peter Lahti who has years of angling experience under his belt. The Beater Tournament is a modern rod range with a terrific look that offers great value for money.

The BTS60, 66 and 70 models are especially suited for catching zander and large perch. The rod blank packs enough punch to hook even the bigger fish yet it is flexible enough to give the fish some leeway when it is thrashing about on the hook.

The BTP80 is designed for pike casting. Casting for pike requires that the rod relays the movements of the lure and can withstand powerful hooksets. The Beater Tournament Pike is made to fulfill both of these requirements. The long-ish rear handle of the rod allows for hook sets that use the entire arm instead of just the wrist, making them more powerful and more comfortable for the angler, and the proper casting grip guarantees casting distances that will drain the blood from your angling buddy's face!

The BTT80 is designed for trout casting. When casting for trout it is important that the rod relays the lure's movements extremely accurately and the angler can feel the difference between a trout bite and when the lure hits a rock. The Beater Tournament Trout is made to fulfill both of these requirements. The longer than usual rear handle makes casting easy even when wading, and when you're casting from a boat the rod can send the lure so far you don't have to get too close to the rocky spots.
